The one, the only, Miley Cyrus

We all know I'd get to a post about Miley's fashion eventually, but anyone who know's me know's I absolutely love her! Her style is so beautiful and casual which is exactly how I like to dress. I wish her hair was still this color, but even though she cut it all off and wen't platinum blonde, she's still the baddest bitch out there. Lol. The two piece outfit she wore to the Hunger Games premiere is by far one of the best things she's ever worn, and my favorite! If there's one celeb's closet I could raid, ya'll know it'd be her's. 

I heart Michigan!

I recently got back from my first summer vacation of 2013! My boyfriend lives in Michigan, and it's seriously one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. I was there in the winter when it was about -13 degrees out and it was still perfect. It's gorgeous. I've been thinking a lot about the possibility of moving there and starting a new chapter in my life (which is much needed). We'll see how things work out. I had a fabulous time! Longboarding, boating, and enjoying the nice almost summer days of the mitten. It's so depressing leaving him but I know I'll be back to see him sometime again this summer!

Tie-dye twime

Hey ya'll. I've been working a lot recently and my paychecks have literally been going to........clothes. As you may have guessed hehe. Usually when I go shopping when I actually have money I never find anything I like (maybe some of you have had the same problem) so sometimes I go when I shouldn't be spending money, and I end up buying everything I see! It's awful really. It also doesn't help that I work in a mall.........but anyway, the other day I bought a beautiful crocheted crop top from H&M for 5 dollars! I about died. It was meant to be. I've also been super attracted to the color purple, and ended up buying a pair of (what didn't seem like at the time) high waisted acid wash purple shorts from F21.

And then these beauties came into my life (pictured). I'm not much of a Van's wear-er, but since my favorite pair of white ones are now too small, I decided to go for another. My mom actually bought these for me and I'm so thankful! They are gorgeous. I'm not totally into patterned shoes either lol, but I couldn't resist these. They look awesome with rinse jeans and a white tank. Thank you Vans for making these lovelies!!! Hope everyone has a fabulous rest of the week! (and a good last few days of the semester!)

Cake Batter Baking

A few days ago, I was so bored that I decided to somewhat invent a cookie recipe. I ended up having a box of yellow cake mix and some sprinkles and the result: Cake batter vanilla butterscotch cookies! I was sooooo in love with these and it literally took me about 20 minutes. 

Ingredients: 

• 1 box yellow cake mix
• 1 tbsp vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 cup oil
• 1 to 1 1/2 cups of butterscotch chips
• 2 cups rainbow sprinkles (optional)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Mix yellow cake mix, eggs, vanilla and oil together in large bowl (an electric mixer works best at first).

Once well blended, add butterscotch chips and sprinkles and start kneading into dough with hands. Make sure all the sprinkles and chips are mixed in well. 

Take a spoonful of dough and roll into little balls. Place on cookie sheet.

Bake 7-9 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Enjoy!
